The super matt finish of Hahnemüle Photorag makes it one of the most popular papers amongst artists, illustrators & photographers alike. The paper gives muted blacks with even colour reproduction and excellent detail. The surface has minimal texture with a chalky smooth cotton feel which creates smooth colour gradients. It has a delicate surface, so it's recommended to have extra care when handling.

When did you last see the sunrise dancing above your hometown?
In the late summer of 2008, with a local dancer called Olga, on the roof of her home - I got to experience just that.

This photo holds a lot of sentiments for me; taken in Hadar, Haifa - a few streets down from the hospital I was born in. And despite moving to a suburb when I was 5, I spent all of my youth around this calm beautiful mountain town. A couple of months later, I left my country and moved to London. Seeing this landscape sends me a warm embracing feeling of Home. It also symbolises my early fascination with photographing movement, circus and dance.

Fast forward 4 years, that picture inspired a whole project called 'Dancers on Rooftops', resulting in about 65,000 photos taken over 14 years. 57 photo sessions featuring a total of 57 dancers, on 43 rooftops in 9 different countries (Bolivia, Canada, Finland, France, Greece, Israel, Mexico, Portugal and UK).

It's incredible to look back now - and could have I imagined any of it when I took this first photo on Olga's roof, less than a year since I first picked up a camera?
